Dr Christina DuBuque received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton in 1987, before receiving her Optometric Doctorate (OD) from Michigan State University, in 1992.
After graduating, Dr DuBuque practiced optometry in the US Navy as active duty as a Captain at Whidby Island, WA until 1998.
Since 1999, she has practiced in Saginaw, MI - specializing in primary family eye care and vision therapy, before founding New Vision Optometry in 2010.
Dr. DuBuque loves the time she spends with her patients, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Originally from Boise Idaho, Dr. Caden Torphy graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, before then then moved to the neighboring state to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Washington.
After completing several rotations in Michigan during his training, Dr Torphy decided to return to the state, joining the New Vision Optometry team He now enjoys providing routine eye-care, managing ocular disease to families in beautiful Lonieville, MI.
Dr. Estell Bednar received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry from University of Michigan in 2011. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2014 from the Michigan College of Optometry.
Dr. Bednar is our Director of Vision Therapy Services and treats patients with learning-related vision problems, strabismus/amblyopia, and those who have vision defects after a concussion or stroke.
